The mermaids or sirens are feared by the humans. After the mermaid Stella gets too close to a human ship she is forced to sing to protect herself (poor thing). This was a disaster for Dillon who was captaining the ship. And he swore to kill the siren. I loved the growth of both characters. Dillon was so sweet and patient. Oh and that ending! ❤️ This one will keep you engaged to the end!
